A recent report by the Mumbai police has revealed important information about how the names of Bollywood actors are used in the process of drug supplying and peddling business.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, the Mumbai police would hear conversations like “Sultan is always late” or “Sultan proved a box-office hit” until they cracked the Mumbai underworld’s code.

The Mumbai police claims that when a “Sultan” is referred to on the phone, it means a person is supplying or organising the drugs.

Here’s the list of actors whose names are frequently used in the drug-dealing business:

Ranveer Singh: Peddler

Ranbir Kapoor: Host

Alia Bhatt: Cocaine

Kangana Ranaut: Afeem (a poppy derivative)

Katrina Kaif: Smack

Priyanka Chopra: LSD

Anushka Sharma: Hashish

Nargis Fakhri: Ecstasy

Even Bollywood gangster films have infused words like supari which is indicative of contract killing, lambi meaning AK-47 and nine number ki chappal which means a 9 mm pistol.
