Facebook has rolled out another update to the Messenger application. According to the survey, Facebook Messenger is the standalone app which is used over 900-million users across the world. With the strong group of users, the company has to add more features which include a new Home tab, Birthday Reminder tab and contacts favourite section. The user can find the new interface of messenger which will show the recent messages at the top of the screen when the app launches. The user can find the people in the favourite section where the user message most frequently.

Facebook Messenger will now show the active section from which the app will show who the people are currently available through online. Apart from all these tabs, the user will find the birthday section which will show the people who have their birthdays on the day and the messenger prompts the user to wish them a Happy Day. Messenger says that the new redesign is an update aimed to make Messenger simpler to use by presenting more relevant information.  The Messenger app now also includes a search bar at the top of the screen which will show results same as the Facebook mobile search.

So, we’ve been thinking about how we can make it simpler and easier to find what you want to start a conversation. It also added that the messenger received an important feature that reintroduced support for SMS messages inside the app. The company has confirmed that the feature will be available via an update to all Android users globally.
