Indonesia’s leg-spinner goalkeeper Choirul Huda died due to his fellow teammate during the Indonesian Super League. During the match for the Persela Lamongan Club, 38-year-old goalkeeper Hooda, along with fellow teammate Ramon Rodriguez, was hit in the first half.
In the league-1, Parsella Lamongan was playing a match against Sameen Padang on Sunday night. During this match, the goalkeeper collided with the Brazilian player Rodriguez. Huda was immediately taken to the hospital Parsella club coach Santos Santo said in a statement to Gol.com, “After the match, all the players went to the hospital immediately, where we got information about Hwadha’s demise.”

“Choirul Huda suffered from a traumatic collision with a team-mate which caused him to stop breathing and have a cardiac arrest,” Yudistiro Andri Nugroho, a doctor from Lamongan hospital, said in a statement.
The coach said that it was difficult for everyone to bear the news of the death of Huda. The team did not have time to meet the doctor. They all could only see Huda’s dead body. Huda, who joined Parsella in 1999, had played 503 matches for the club so far in his career.

Persela paid tribute to Huda, who played for the team more than 500 times since 1999, calling him “The Real Legend” of the club in a posting on Twitter.
