After this, Kundan expressed his desire to donate his car by emailing Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leader Dilip Pandey. Then Dilip Pandey talked to the phone and everything was decided.

On 1 January 2013, Kundan talked to Arvind Kejriwal for the first time on the phone. On January 3, 2013, the car was picked up from a house located in Kundan, Dwarka.

The Aam Aadmi Party gave a certificate of acceptance of the train on their letter-head. It says, ‘DL 9CG-9769 will be owned by the Aam Aadmi Party and now Shraddha Sharma will not have any accountability or control over the car.’
