On the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 66th birthday, the chairman of Reliance ADA Group Anil Ambani wrote a glowing testimonial on the prime minister’s website (narendramodi.in) in praise of the leader.

Anil shared an interesting story about how his father Dhirubhai Ambani predicted in the 90s that Modi would go on to become the prime minister of the country. He recalled a meeting between Dhirubhai Ambani and Modi, when the former invited him for dinner at his Mumbai residence.

Anil wrote: “At the end of their long intense conversation, and he left, Papa remarked: ‘Lambi race no ghodo chhe’. ‘Leader chhe’ – ‘PM banse’ – He’s a thoroughbred for the long run. A true leader! He will be Prime Minister!”

Dhirubhai Ambani’s words now seem prophetic as Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party swept to power in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

“In 2014, when the country chose Narendrabhai to be Prime Minister, it was a defining moment in our history and Papa would have been smiling from heaven that his prophecy as usual had come true,” Anil said.

Anil added that his favourite way to describe Modi is by describing the Sanskrit meaning behind his name.

PM Modi Distributes Assistive Devices To Specially Abled Kids
At the Samajik Adhikarita Shivir held on his 66th birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday distributed assistive devices to a group of specially abled children. The Prime Minister was welcome with a 67-feet long garland weighing 67 kilograms at the event held in Gujarat’s Navsari district. The entire nation is cherishing the birth anniversary of the Prime Minister.

“In Sanskrit, ‘Nara’ means man and ‘Indra’ king or leader. Narendrabhai, in other words, is a leader of leaders, and a king of kings,” he said.

He went on to wish Modi that “god continue to give him the strength and wisdom to lead us from strength to strength”.
