The culprit in Chennai Infosys murder case found WHO'S HOT Week after the gory murder of Infosys employee Swathi at the Nungambakkam Railway Station, Chennai police have finally apprehended a man believed to be the accused. The suspect has been identified as Ram Kumar who is a native of Ambassamudram, Tirunelveli. Sources say that he tried to commit suicide by slitting his throat knowing he has been surrounded. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital. The police is waiting for his condition to be stable before they start the questioning. Swathi was brutally hacked to death on June 24 while she was waiting at the platform to board a train to work. Suspect Ram Kumar, who tried to commit suicide, has been admitted to hospital. Injured Kumar has been given 18 stitches on his throat which got slit badly. He has been moved to a special care unit and the cops are guarding him. Suspect reportedly used sharp object to slit his throat when he knew that he was surrounded by policemen. His condition, both mentally and physically, is said to be unstable and that he might be retained in Tirunelveli for a day or two before being brought to Chennai. The police will decide it later. Ram Kumar lived in a mansion in Choolaimedu in Chennai, for almost 3 months. Kumar is a resident of Ambasamudram of Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu. The mansion is located right in between Swathi’s house and the railway station where the murder happened.
