There has always been news about Kapil Sharma’s new show and ‘Comedy Nights Live’, which replaced ‘CNWK’. Fans were excited for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ but it did not start with a bang.
The first 2 episodes of ‘TKSS’ got the rating of 3 and 2.9 respectively. It was just a little higher than the first episode of ‘Comedy Nights Live’ on Colors. The latest ratings for Hindi GECs and shows from April 30 to May 6 are out, and the results are surprising.

According to BARC India data, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ got the rating of 1.9 and well, Krushna Abhishek’s ‘Comedy Nights Live’ garnered the rating of 1.7, which is too close.

Moreover, the show which is topping the rating chart is Colors’ ‘India’s Got Talent’ that started on April 30. ‘IGT’ opened with the rating of 2.3 i.e. higher than Kapil’s show and ‘Comedy Nights Live’.
Mouni Roy and Arjun Bijlani’s ‘Naagin’ is, as usual, ruling the chart. From last week’s rating of 4.8, it has come out to be stronger with 5 rating this week. DivyankaTripathi’s ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’ and ‘SaathNibhaanaSaathiya’ both garnered the rating of 3.1.

Well to sustain in the long run seems like ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will have to pull up its socks
